Our Team – Profiles

Linda is the youngest daughter of Maria and Jose Souto, the original owners of the Fortunato Fruits farm. When John and Linda got married they purchased the farm and renamed the orchard "Fortunato Fruits". Linda spent the majority of her life helping her parents on the farm alongside her other 3 siblings; Alvin, Antonio, and Maria. As she grew up she began selling in various towns throughout Alberta with her siblings and their spouses, attended university, and had children before deciding to settle down and solely work from the orchard. You can usually find Linda either in the packing area, on the orchard, or at one of our stands when we need the extra hand. No matter where she is she is always working incredibly hard.
